Alex
I am 21 years old and like the rest of my co-hosts, I am also from Western Washington! As the youngest of three in my family, I have definitely kept a lot of my thoughts to myself, so I think podcasting is a great opportunity to share them!

In December of 2019, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law from Liberty University Online. I plan on attending Law School in the next few years and getting my Juris Doctor. Since I was little, I’ve been interested in law and politics and my studies thus far have been the most challenging fun I’ve ever had. These studies have really helped develop my worldview, allowing me to perceive things through both a small-scale personal level as well as a large-scale cultural and ethical level.

As you might be able to tell from our podcast, I also really enjoy spiritual study and discussion and the fruits they yield in my life. I also enjoy playing guitar, genuinely connecting with people, and making people laugh. I have a cat named Justice who I love more than almost anything, he is my son and he is very strong. I go on periodic work trips to Hawaii and have cumulatively spent over a year there. It’s a long story, so ask me about it sometime!
Brandon
Unlike the other three members of this podcast team, I was born in Oregon and later moved to Washington. Being a military brat we moved to many different states before finally settling in Washington in April of 2001.
My passion for the majority of my young adult life has been filmmaking and creative collaboration. I’ve been taking shooting photos since I was old enough to operate a camera and started making videos with my brother at a young age. I graduated from South Puget Sound Community College with a focus in Film and later worked as a teaching assistant for the Film program there. I’ve been heavily involved in the film community around Olympia, WA for many years and have been able to participate in the making of several feature and short independent films shot here.
I love spending time with my wife and cat, playing board games with friends and family, or watching movies. I hope that this podcast can be a blessing to those that come upon it and that we are able to serve the Lord’s children through our efforts.
Gina
I am the youngest of two in a family of four, and very happily make up ¼ of the Chat Podcast team. I was born in raised in Olympia, WA, with a short stint in Ellensburg, WA at Central Washington University to earn my Professional and Creative Writing Degree.
I am thrilled to be a part of the team here at the Chat. Writing and creating content based around Biblical truth is something I am incredibly passionate about. I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home and to come to know Christ personally at a very young age. My goal is to love and serve him with my whole heart, and this podcast is an outpouring of all of our combined efforts to do that.
My husband, Brandon, and I live in Olympia, WA with our fur-child, Ember. We love watching movies, seeing live theater performances, trying out new brunch spots, and spending time with our friends and family.
Lauren
As the oldest of three, I’ve never been afraid to share my opinion! I have an MBA and recently completed an Education Specialist postgraduate degree from Liberty University. I love using the written word to share the things I am passionate about with others. With a background in business administration, I tend to look at things through the lens of how people and circumstances work together, considering the processes and how they influence results. I love contemplating the optimal or ideal version of a situation and thinking about how that could be achieved.
I am so blessed to be a third generation follower of Christ, and am so grateful for the spiritual and character-focused conversations that were a consistent part of my upbringing. I love having the opportunity to share the things that God has put on my heart with others, and gaining insight and wisdom from perspectives different than my own. Brandon, Gina, and Alex are three of my best friends, and I’m so excited we get to share the questions and conversations we have about our own spiritual development through the Chat!
I love to spend my free time with my family and friends (especially my boyfriend, Andrew), reading, cooking, and as of recently, learning to play the piano!
